Candipedra – Mármores dos Candeeiros is a company specialized on the extraction and commercialization of Portuguese limestones. Working in the field for more than a decade, Candipedra has today two quarries from where it extracts the Cabeca Veada limestone, also known as Vidraco de Candeeiros.
Quarries
On our two quarries we extract several variations of the Cabeca Veada limestone. We do this with an extraction strategy using several extraction fronts, as well as layers of extraction. This allows us to supply to all our clients with a good range of variations of the same stone in terms of colour, grain and hardness.
Materials
On our quarries we extract the Cabeca Veada limestone. This material can present some variations in terms of grain, colour and hardness. We can offer the Cabeca Veada thin grain, medium grain and vein type. These are materials with a high demand on the international stone market and great future potential.
